ATB Riva Calzoni recently delivered a new HDS Reactor made of Vanadium modified steel, destined to Rayong Refinery, owned by IRPC Public Company Limited in Thailand. The 450 ton reactor, licensed by Topsoe and manufactured by ATB, seats at the core of the Hydrodesulphurization Unit as part of the Ultra Clean Fuel (UCF) project which aims to improve refining efficiency and upgrade diesel quality in compliance with Euro V standards.

On September 18 at 20.00 at the former hot area of the Arvedi steelworks in Trieste the felling of the four large -sized concrete structures took place and the chimneys (85 meters high) which were part of the cokeria. The controlled demolition required the use of 300 kg of explosive, 575 detonators and 500 meters of detonating fuse. To reduce the environmental impact of the dust, noise and vibrations Sid srl opted for a single sprint; This has meant that this demolition, today, was the most important in the national territory of its kind.

ATB Riva Calzoni is finalizing the installation of the steel Penstock at Nam Theun 1 Hydropower Project (Laos), 650 MW. The commissioning of the Penstock, with an internal diameter of 10 m and a total length of about 625 m, is planned by the end of 2021. In the footage, a short summary of the main activities carried out at site: from beginning of fabrication until transportation of the last pipe. ATB Riva Calzoni is also supplying the complete package of Hydromechanical Equipment of the dam under construction on a tributary of the Mekong River, Laos.

ATB Riva Calzoni completed the temporary workshop at Nachtigal Hydropower Project (Cameroon), 420 MW. The fabrication of the 5.6 m diameter pipes for Nachtigal HPP penstocks will be completely performed in the temporary workshop, including rolling of the steel plates, automatic welding, quality testing & painting. The 9 m long pipes will be then installed at site to feed the 7 Francis hydro turbines. Nachtigal Hydropower Project will cover 30% of Cameroon’s energy needs, further developing the Country’s sources of renewable energy.

ATB Riva Calzoni commissioned the Bottom Outlet at Nam Theun 1 Hydropower Project (Laos), 650 MW. ATB Riva Calzoni is supplying the 10m diameter steel penstocks and the hydromechanical equipment of the dam under construction on a tributary of Mekong river, Laos.

The "First of a kind" TNG3, the technological advances of the "Transportation Cask", developed and produced by ATB Group in cooperation with Orano, subject of a French newscast.

ATB Group construction site, will manufacture the penstocks for Ituango, the largest hydroelectric plants in Colombia. The design of the hydromechanical components is carried out in Italy, in Brescia, while the manufacturing of equipment for the hydroelectric sector is carried out between Medellín and the construction site not far from the Ituango power plant.

ATB Group's Civil Construction & Industrial Services division has successfully completed the demolition of the port unloader located in the port of Taranto, IV protruding. The intervention, coordinated by Sid Srl - Società Italiana Demolizioni, part of the ATB group.

A journey to discover the technologies offered by ATB Group for the renewable energy sector. The Renewables division has manufactured the hydroelectric turbines of the Goglio power plant, in Piedmont, in the province of Verbano Cusio-Ossola. A project commissioned by Enel Green Power and successfully completed.

Artogne Workshop is a new site dedicated to renewable energy. It was designed and equipped to meet the planning and production needs of two sectors: Wind Power and Small Hydro. Since 2017 ATB Riva Calzoni has been established in Alto Maipo, Chile, to work on the construction of penstocks for the three vertical shafts of the Aes Gener hydroelectric plant.

It is ATB Riva Calzoni's comeback to the nuclear market. More specifically to making casks, that is, the steel containers used to transport spent fuel from nuclear power plants. Such comeback required further developing the productive capacities of the mechanical department of the Roncadelle facilities.

The innovation is in the air! ATB Riva Calzoni believes in wind power and returns to the wind market after being in the late 80’s and early 90’s a pioneer in Italy with the M30 single blade wind turbine, which as been installed on several sites.

ATB Group's Civil Construction & Industrial Services division has successfully completed the second demolition with explosives planned for the Verona area and planned for the demolition of disused piezometric towers. A concrete structure of about 30 meters high which, for the refurbishing of the plants arranged by the owner of the steelworks, the Pittini Group, had to be demolished. The operations, coordinated by the Police Authority, was handled by Sid Srl - Società Italiana Demolizioni, part of Semat Spa, part of ATB Group.

ATB Riva Calzoni participated in Key Energy: where energy meets the future. From 7th to 10th of November 2017 ATB Riva Calzoni’s wind division was present at the Rimini Expo Centre, leading fair for renewable energies in the Mediterranean area.

Rapid Project Bullet Tanks F load out, the biggest equipment ever fabricated by MMHE-ATB. MMHE-ATB Sdn. Bhd. is a joint venture between ATB Riva Calzoni (ATB RC) and Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (MMHE), was set up in Malaysia in the year 2000, located inside of MMHE yard at Pasir Gudang, Johor and adjacent to Singapore Island.

The miter gates for Isola Serafini. The two gates, transported by road to Isola Serafini, were placed in the new navigation lock that will enter in operation from this summer. ATB Riva Calzoni selected for the installation all the hydromechanical works of the Project that will increase the commercial traffic of Po river.

The ATB 500.54 and ATB 750.54 are well-proven German wind turbine designs with excellent performance records resulting from several years of successful field operation. The turbine incorporates state-of-the-art technologies at the forefront of modern wind power generation systems.

Hydro Energia owned by ATB Riva Calzoni is a contractor with more than 25 years of experience in providing EPC Services for the supply of Small Hydroelectric Power Plant.

Hydro Energia, is an Italian company established in 2011, with the acquisition of the whole know-how, references and human resources from the Hydropower BU of CO-VER Energia, a general contractor with more than twenty-five years of experience in providing EPC Services for the supply of Small Hydroelectric Power Plant, with a proprietary technology for the design and manufacturing of hydroelectric turbines. Hydro Energia is controlled by ATB Riva Calzoni, and started with the heritage of a complete organization with more than 40 employees, with highly skilled and experienced technicians in HPP applications. Even though the company historically operated in the Italian market, the new company, young and dynamic, has already started a process of internationalization that brought important contracts in the major markets abroad.

The ATB 500.54 and ATB 750.54 are a well proven German wind turbine design with excellent performances documented through several years of field operation. The turbine incorporates state of the art technologies at the forefront of current wind power generation systems. A variable pitch controlled wind turbine with a 54m rotor. The first prototype was installed in 1997, since then over 20MW have been installed and are successfully operating in Germany, Austria and Canada. The turbine is available in 50m or 73m hub heights, its towers are manufactured using the highest quality steel with a durable C5 protective outer coating to ensure a minimum lifespan of 20 years even in the most severe operating conditions.

On April 24th, 2016, loading operation of 1nr 500-ton Hydrotreater reactor in Marghera port of Venice, Italy was completed for the PetroPeru project of Talara, Peru under execution by Messrs Tecnicas Reunidas of Spain. The loading operation was accomplished efficiently within 6 hours.

L’Albero della Vita come non lo avete mai visto: un drone riprende il cantiere dove sta nascendo l’opera simbolo di Expo 2015. Il suo volo leggero svela il basamento della struttura, posta al centro del Lake Arena, e la passerella che permetterà di raggiungere l’opera.
