๐ฆ๐๐ ๐๐ and ๐๐ง๐ are proud to announce the award of a contract for the manufacturing of key components for an ๐๐ฆ๐ ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐น supporting a major nuclear programme, the details of which remain confidential in accordance with contractual obligations.
This milestone marks the successful conclusion of a journey that began with feasibility study contracts awarded to ๐๐ง๐ and subsequently developed into a joint engineering, qualification and industrial development programme involving ๐๐ง๐, ๐ฆ๐๐ ๐๐ and our customer.
The project now enters its manufacturing phase, with production commencing at ATB's facilities in Roncadelle before the assemblies are transferred to SIMIC's waterfront manufacturing facilities in Porto Marghera (Venice) for final welding, integration and assembly.
This achievement highlights the strength of the Italian nuclear manufacturing supply chain and the value of combining complementary expertise to support Europe's next generation of nuclear energy projects.

ATB in the France-Italy Economic Forum
ATB Riva Calzoni among the key players in Italy-France industrial cooperation for the future of European energy.
ATB took part in the first edition of the France-Italy Economic Forum, held in Le Cannet alongside the Antibes intergovernmental summit between French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
The Forum, opened by Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso and closed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani, marked a high-level moment of dialogue on industrial and energy cooperation between the two countries. Among the key figures taking part in the institutional discussions were Minister of the Environment and Energy Security Gilberto Pichetto Fratin and French Minister of Energy Maud Bregeon, confirming the shared commitment to strengthening strategic collaboration in the nuclear sector as well.
In this context, ATB Riva Calzoni signed a Declaration of Interest, together with leading Italian and French industrial players, to promote the development of and cooperation on Nuward, French SMR (Small Modular Reactor) technologies for the European market.
Taking part in this initiative is an important recognition of ATB Riva Calzoni's role as a strategic industrial partner in the European nuclear supply chain, and confirms our commitment to putting our expertise, innovation and manufacturing capabilities at the service of the energy transition.

Participated in the ItalianโPolish Nuclear Supply Chain Meeting
On June 22โ23, ATB Riva Calzoni participated in a key initiative aimed at strengthening industrial cooperation between Italy and Poland in the nuclear sector, promoted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Poland in collaboration with AIN and IGEOS, with the support of AIPE.
As Polandโs nuclear program moves into an increasingly concrete implementation phase, closer industrial collaboration between the two countries is essential to leverage expertise and manufacturing capabilities, fostering a strong Italian-Polish supply chain able to support the programโs long-term development.

Progress continues at the Koysha Hydropower Project!
Our team has successfully completed the installation of the first two lower elbows of the #SteelPenstocks (10m diameter), marking an important advancement within the #Hydromechanical scope.
Meanwhile, all remaining #Hydromechanical activities, as well as the installation of the remaining #Penstock sections, are continuing progressively to advance with one of #Ethiopiaโs most impactful #Renewable #Energy projects.

We are proud to announce that ATB RIVA CALZONI has obtained the ASME NPT Certificate of Authorization, a key requirement for the manufacturing of critical components for the nuclear island, designed in accordance with ASME Section III Div. 1 and Div. 5.
Already ASME NPT certified from 2009 to 2018, ATB today confirms its return to this strategic field, further strengthening a path of expertise developed and consolidated over the past 15 years.
This achievement is even more significant as it comes in the same year as the attainment of the ISO 19443 certification, marking a double strategic milestone that demonstrates our commitment to quality, excellence, and continuous improvement.
๐ Two key objectives, achieved in a short timeframe thanks to the determination, expertise, and outstanding teamwork of our people. A heartfelt thank you to our entire team, and also to our partner ICIM for their valuable contribution.

Oggi abbiamo avuto il piacere di ospitare un gruppo di 27 studenti della facoltร
di Ingegneria Nucleare del Politecnico di Milano. Il nostro Nuclear Product
Development Manager Federico Maggioni, supportato dal Sales Manager Matteo
Gamba, ha raccontato il percorso di ATB Riva Calzoni cominciato negli anni 70
durante lo sviluppo del programma Nucleare Italiano fino ai giorni nostri
attraverso le esperienze maturate nellโambito della #fusione e della #fissione,
nonchรฉ nella costruzione di contenitori di nuova generazione ad alto contenuto
tecnologico per trasporto e stoccaggio del #combustibile irraggiato.
Il nostro HR Manager Simone Bernardi ha poi evidenziato quali opportunitร
professionali possa offrire una realtร manifatturiera come ATB e quanto
lโazienda creda fortemente nellโinserimento di giovani neolaureati.
Il gruppo รจ stato poi guidato allโinterno della nostra fabbrica per vedere da
vicino i processi produttivi in particolare la #saldatura e le lavorazioni
meccaniche, mostrando i componenti attualmente in costruzione e rispondendo
infine alle curiositร degli studenti.

ATB Riva Calzoni is pleased to share the successful delivery of No. 2 huge
reactors destined to Louisiana (USA), which have just left the Marghera seaport
a few days ago.
This job represents one of the heaviest supply ever performed by ATB in its
entire history, with 1.350 tons/unit fabrication weight, 247 mm wall thickness,
5.494 mm internal diameter and 43,5 meters overall length.
The project, commissioned by our esteemed customer, consists of the #design and
#fabrication of two #reactors, made of low alloy #Vanadium modified steel with
internal SS347 weld overlay, for a U.S. refinery.
ATB Riva Calzoni would like to express its gratitude to all the personnel
involved in such a brilliant performance and to our client, whose cooperation
has been highly appreciated throughout the overall 22 months of project
execution.

We are thrilled to announce our involvement in the project initiated by
#Alperia to enhance the #Safety of the #Resia #lake. This significant project
involves doubling the #gates for the second outlet of the #SanValentino #dam,
located in #Bolzano, #Italy.
#ATBRivaCalzoni โs scope of work includes a #turnkey #supply of the wheel
#gates. The #Civilworks has been performed by #Semat, part of #ATBGroup
To protect the plant and enable #gate operation under harsh weather conditions,
an anti-icing system has been implemented.

ATB Riva Calzoni attended the โEDF European Nuclear Suppliers Daysโ on 04th
and 5th of June at the charming Salle Gaveau in Paris. Main outcome of the
conference is the urgent need of increasing nuclear reactors EPR2 production,
reaching a target of twice per year while waiting for the next generation of
SMRs and AMRs.
Our Nuclear industry needs an European #SupplyChain capable to keep the pace,
this was the fil rouge of the conference. Developing capacity and #skills will
be the challenge of the nearby future.

On 29th - 30th May 2024 ATB Riva Calzoni joined the 1st General Assembly of
the European Industrial Alliance on Small Modular Reactors organized by European
Commission, nucleareurope and SNETP.
A Strategic Action Plan has been set during the event to allow a prompt start of
the operation of the Alliance. We look forward to join one of the Working Groups
and to provide our contribution to SMRs and AMRs development.
