From 1960 to today, ATB has designed and manufactured over 2,600 reactors and separators for the petrochemical industry (average production of 10,000 tons per year).
The experiences gained allowed ATB to contribute to the Italian nuclear program in the 1970s by providing various components. More recently, starting in 2012, ATB established the Nuclear division, which has grown over the years, making ATB one of the leading companies in the manufacture of complex critical equipment for the nuclear sector, including recently SMR/AMR and fusion.
