The new small wind turbine ATB 50.28 DD of 50 kW installed on an agricultural plot of the Contrada Guarinelle of Trapani startedto work in the early days of 2018. The wind turbine, the third commissioning in Sicily in 2017, has a power of 50kW with a rotor of 28m and a height at the hub of 36m, was commissioned by Flag Srl and will serve to produce renewable energy to be put on the network.
The wind energy plant is located in a flat area close to the coast with an average wind speed of around 5.5 m / s. The expected productivity fot this wind turbine is 200 thousand kW hours per year.
