ATB Group's Heavy Equipment division has been chosen as the main supplier of the five pieces of equipment(3 reactors and 2 separators) commissioned by Cepsa for the San Roque Refinery on the north shore of the Bay of Gibraltar, Spain.

San Roque is the main refining plant of the Iberian Peninsula, with a processing capacity of 240,000 barrels per day for a total capacity of 12 million tons of crude oil per year.

Two huge reactors are part of the load: a pair of LC Fining reactors, 1500-ton and over fifty-metre long each. This type of equipment requires very specific and accurate assembly stages. Installing the internal sections required a prior ad hoc analysis and specific mechanical machining.

The other three pieces of equipment are smaller and less complex. The entire supply was shipped in April 2020.
