This years marks an important stage in the history of ATB Riva Calzoni. Since October, the company has started a new process of lean manufacturing, a challenge that will allow the organization to be more competitive in the market and to give faster and more efficient response to the customers.
The project will officially start in the early days of 2018 and will involve the whole of ATB Riva Calzoni, from the factory to the offices. "Each of us is asked to contribute in winning this new challenge that will lead us to tackle the problems we meet in the factory in a different and certainly more positive way", explained President Sergio Trombini in his end of the year speech to all the workers at the Roncadelle plant.
Improving and accelerating production, streamlining procedures and reducing costs are the key target summarized by Giancarlo Oriani, CEO of Staufen Italia, the consulting firm that will support ATBRC in this change.
"We must continue to evolve to fight, to give a future to a company with a history of more than a century - added Mr Trombini, before sending a personal greeting to all those present - I ask for your cooperation in order to achieve the results we have set ourselves and I extend to you and your families sincere wishes for a merry Christmas ".
